Cosmo and Jasmine were surrendered to our organization after they gave birth to a son on September 12, 2017.

In the dog world father dogs are to be isolated from mom and pups for the safety of the pups.

Father dogs typically do not embrace fatherly instincts as humans know it.

That's not the case with our Cosmo!

Cosmo assumed the duties of a mother dog!

When both Jasmine and Cosmo came in from their short visit outside, it was Cosmo who would run back and check on his son, care for his son, clean his son and take on all the motherly duties except nursing!

To know Cosmo is to love him!

Cosmo is a tough little guy.

If he does not know you he lets the world know it until he knows the world is safe.

His intensity and alert intelligence are what

makes Cosmo the dog we all love and admire!
